Who is behind the brand
Xtenia is a Spanish brand based in Bakaiku, Navarra, run by Yasser Souweiri, who has trained bodyweight movement for more than thirteen years. Its line: designed in Europe, shipped from Spain, tested by athletes. Every product goes through several physical samples and tests in real training conditions, and every order is checked by hand before it ships. The brand has a 4.9 out of 5 rating in verified reviews.
What they make
The lead product is the Antlettes V2 parallettes pair: a 35 mm beech handle on a powder-coated steel base with rubber pads. Small format, 23 cm long, 14 cm wide, 10.5 cm high, 1.1 kg the pair, shipped with a bag. The brand rates them at 300 kg and states a load test to failure at 1,280 kg per pair, verified by SGS. The rings are solid birch, in 28 or 32 mm on the V2, with 5 m straps carrying woven height markings, 300 kg per pair; the V1 stays in the catalog in 28 mm only. Two reinforced nylon dip belts, one with a double 77 cm chain and four carabiners, one with a 125 cm rope, both rated for 300 kg, plus the rope on its own with nine loops. Two-tone latex bands in four strengths, from 2 to 39 kg, a 250 ml liquid chalk, and accessories: soft or hard wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, a jump rope, lifting straps. Three bundles group all that at a discount.
The product pages publish dimensions, weight and load on the structural products. The place of manufacture is not stated.
What to check before you order
The Antlettes V2 are a small pair: 23 cm long and 10.5 cm high, good for planche, handstand and the bag, not for getting under the bar or for deep push-ups. For rings, take the V2 if you want the choice between 28 and 32 mm and the height markings, the V1 if 28 mm is enough. For the belt, the chain carries the load with no adjustment, the rope adjusts loop by loop but each loop is rated for 200 kg. The bands sell singly or as a set of four, and the bag only comes with the set.
The practical side: shipping from Spain, 24 to 48 hours for Spain and Portugal, 2 to 5 days for twenty-three EU countries, 8.50 euros from 30 euros of order and free from 100. Returns within 14 days with everything refunded, then up to 30 days at your cost for an unused product. Legal warranty of two years, three in Spain, plus a lifetime structural guarantee on the parallettes, the rings and the belts.
Who it suits
Someone starting out, or who wants a compact pair of parallettes and rings at a contained price, from a European seller that publishes its numbers and takes returns without argument within 14 days. The bundles are built for that first purchase. The Antlettes V2 are a good pair of parallettes: I used them for a month, they never moved on parquet, nothing worked loose, and they cost under 40 €. Details in my test.
It is not the brand to choose if you want tall or long parallettes, or documented local manufacturing.
My tests
I tested the Antlettes V2 for a month at 73 kg, measured with a caliper: a 23 cm pair, beech bar on a steel frame, 1.1 kg the pair. The pads did not move once on parquet, nothing worked loose, and the only reproach is a beech bar a touch smoother than on the Caliathletics Mini. Read the test.
