The first edition takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026 in Budapest, in a sports hall in the Újpest district (Lakkozó utca 1-5, 1048 Budapest), confirmed by the organizers on September 22. Doors open at 12:30, the battles start at 13:00 and the event lasts four to five hours. There is a single category, Men Static Battles.
Applications closed on October 12, 2026. They were free and doubled as a pre-qualification round: each athlete submitted a 30-second to one-minute video, edited or not. The organizers picked the top 24 from those videos and revealed them one by one on Instagram (@bos_cup) from October 14 to 26: 24 athletes from 14 countries, France first with five qualifiers, then Cyprus (three), Hungary, Poland, Spain and Ukraine (two each). The full list is below. Athletes must be 16 on the day of the event (parental consent under 18). Selected athletes pay a 25 € participation fee that covers a t-shirt, a starter pack and a VIP ticket to the after session at BOS Gym the next day.
Announced format: 1v1 battles drawn at random, two 45-second rounds per athlete, three 35-second rounds in the final, scored on 30 points (pull, push, combination) by a panel of three judges. The panel was revealed in September 2026: Viktor Kamenov, Dániel Pfneiszli, introduced as Hungary’s two-finger planche reference, and Leevan, travelling from France to Hungary for the first time.
The top three on the podium share a €1,000 cash prize: €550 for the winner, €300 for second, €150 for third.
Three partners were announced at the end of October: Workout Factory (official sponsor, the battles are fought on its Static Bar), VIWA Vitaminwater and SWO, the French apparel brand that also dresses ISN, with products to win for the crowd.
Spectator tickets are on sale on the competition website: the 11 € early bird tickets sold out on October 31, regular tickets cost 14 €, 16.50 € at the door on competition day. An optional donation can be added at checkout. Everyone needs a ticket, whatever their age, and every ticket bought enters a draw on the day for a pair of Wooden Parallettes Pro. Between phases and after the final, the crowd can use the bars after signing a waiver. The day after, Leevan runs an in-person planche workshop, followed by a jam session with the athletes of the day before, open to workshop participants only.
